Lake Ägeri is not only surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, but is also a place of tranquillity that invites you to take a break and recharge your batteries.

Our sustainability is based on several pillars:

• Climate neutrality/environmentally friendly technology: The E-MS Ägerisee is Switzerland’s largest fully electric passenger boat. The quiet electric motor protects the lake’s ecosystem. We source the green electricity required for its operation from WWZ. Ägerisee Schifffahrt has thus achieved its major goal – climate-neutral shipping.
   
• Social commitment: 90 per cent of our staff are from Ägeri. We are a shipping company run by the local community, for the local community.
   
• Swisstainable: We have achieved the highest level of the Swisstainable programme – Level 3 Leading. 
   
• Regional cuisine: We serve regional specialities on board. For example, our fresh pasta is produced at the ConSol Manufaktur social enterprise in Zug. 
   
• Local value creation: The ship’s interior was fitted out by local businesses – a clear commitment to supporting the local economy.
